Fieldwork guide
How we show up on your floor
Statutory audits and inventory observations succeed when plant managers know who will arrive, which rooms are needed, and when the dock must pause for test counts. This guide sets those expectations before kickoff.
- Kickoff calendar. We lock fieldwork weeks against your production schedule, Golden Week closures, and export cut-offs—not against an abstract project template.
- Document room basics. A quiet table, power strips, and access to binders or shared folders are enough. We do not require branded “war rooms.”
- Count attendance. Observers arrive with test-count sheets and aisle maps. Quarantine cages and consignment corners are walked before sample selection expands.
- Daily catch-ups. Fifteen minutes at the end of each field day clears open items while memories are fresh—better than a Friday surprise list.
- Closing meeting. Draft findings are discussed with evidence on the table. The signed report follows once remaining confirmations clear.
What your team should prepare
- Trial balance and supporting schedules for material accounts
- Inventory count instructions and floor plans
- Bank and receivable confirmation contact lists
- Board minutes and significant contract files for the period
- Names of warehouse escorts for each count location
If schedules are incomplete, say so early. A readiness review may be wiser than forcing a statutory start date.
Service area rhythm
We routinely cover sites across Fukui Prefecture, with day trips to neighbouring coastal cities when subsidiaries share a year-end. Overnight stays are arranged when multi-day counts require dawn arrivals.
