Data we collect

When you request an estimate or subscribe to ledger notes, we may collect your name, email address, engagement interest, fiscal year-end information you choose to share, and the content of your message. Server logs may record IP address and browser type for security.

Purposes

We use this data to respond to engagement enquiries, schedule fieldwork discussions, improve site reliability, and—if you opt in—send occasional journal notes. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Enquiry records are retained for up to twenty-four months after the last correspondence unless a signed engagement requires longer retention under professional standards. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are typically rotated within ninety days.

Your rights

Subject to Japanese law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and you may object to certain processing. Contact us at hello@connectivity-automationio.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan where applicable.

International transfers

Our primary operations and storage are in Japan. If a service provider processes data outside Japan (for example, email delivery), we take contractual and organisational steps appropriate to the destination’s protections and to Japan’s requirements for cross-border transfers.
